Comments on July 2002 -return- to Roboinson Club Tulum:

Abstract - Improved food (smile). Will return!

Food - Sabastian (sp/? - blush) has upgraded the food service! Wine and cheese is much improved.

Guests - More guests now than in November. Still tends to be 2~4 weeks vaction, upper middle class, well educated, well traveled, German family(s) or couples. There were a number of one-week, low-money, or discount `type' Americans. Guests tend to be family or couples - not `party-hardy' folks (smile).

Children - Staffed programs for children age 4 years to teenagers. Children tend to have meals with family.

English - West German guests tend to have some command of English et al but I found that my fellow Americans tend to have NO command or `use' for German (sigh).

Staff - Staff supports German and English. Local house keeping or grounds staff tend to use Spanish. There appears to be 3 guests per staff.

Faility/beach - continues to be in very good condtion. Clean and tidy.

Botton line - We plan on returning this winter (smile).
